Premises
This is where the magic happens! Our office on the ground floor of the Bau is where we do 90% of our student council work. This room is also your first point of contact if you have any questions or problems with your studies, or if you just want to drop in for a cup of coffee. You can find us here during our office hours, but often also outside of them. The room is located on the ground floor, down the corridor to the right from the lifts, opposite the toilets.
There are many learning rooms in and around the building that are managed by us. The opening hours of the study rooms are based on the opening hours of the civil engineering building – i.e. from 8:00 to 19:30. Below you will find an overview of all the study rooms in Faculty 3:
T3 Pavilion
The T3 Pavilion is the ‘glass box’ that is so present in front of the building. This was originally a research project, but was converted into a learning space on the initiative of the student council.
Capacity: approx. 30 students
Type of learning room: Quiet learning room
Drawing Room 414
Drawing room 414 is located on the 4th floor of the Civil Engineering building. You will find the room when you reach the 4th floor and keep to the right in the corridor behind the glass doors – the door of the drawing room is then already visible.
Capacity: approx. 50-60 students
Type of study room: suitable for group work to a certain extent
Drawing Room 511
Drawing room 511 is located on the 5th floor of the Civil Engineering building. You will find the room when you reach the 5th floor and keep to the right in the corridor behind the glass doors – the door of the drawing room is then already visible.
Capacity: approx. 50-60 students
Type of study room: suitable for group work to a certain extent
Notice:
Drawing rooms 414 and 511 are shared by small group tutorials at times during the semester. Please note the notices on the doors. During the exam period, however, the rooms are closed for all events and are therefore available to you as study rooms only.
