Team Party
Together with the electrical engineering student council, we have been organising “BauStrom” for first-year students in the C.A.R.L., one of our lecture buildings, since 2017. On the first day of the freshers’ week, dance-loving students storm the lecture hall building and get to know it from a different perspective. For many first-year students, the “BauStrom” is one of the highlights of the introductory week.

The Schau am Bau is probably one of the biggest student parties in Aachen. Every summer, the lawn in front of the civil engineering building is transformed into a huge party location. While various live bands perform on stage, you can buy draught beer, cocktails and slushies at various bars. After the sun has set, the party moves inside the building. One of the corridors is a big dance floor and a DJ sets the mood with the latest beats.

When it starts to get really cold and everyone feels like drinking mulled wine or punch, all students who feel like it come together in front of the collective building of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. You get to meet lots of new people at this event and can spend a nice evening with friends. If you want, you can bring something for the barbecue and enjoy freshly grilled food even in early December. We usually start at 18:00 and play music until we go to bed at 22:00. Many people move on after the event and let the evening end like this.
Every first Tuesday of the month, Team Party meets for a beer or two in Pontstraße. In this setting, everyone can get to know each other in an informal setting and have a lot of fun. All interested parties are cordially invited to exchange ideas with the party planners of the student council.
